Description

Ichthyophis orthoplicatus is a species of amphibian gymnosperm.It is endemic to the mountains of South-Central Sri Lanka.It occurs in evergreen forests,rubber and tea plantations,rural areas,wetlands and livestock pastures.It may be threatened byextreme habitat loss,caused by agro-industry,deforestation andagro-chemical pollution.An Ichthyophis orthoplicatus in uska species of Amphibia 's ginhulagway Taylor last 1965.An Ichthyophis orthoplicatus in nahilalakip the genus Ichthyophis,and familia Ichthyophiidae.The IUCN species glutulas even infect.This is a subspecies listed.
