(Garrulax taewanus)
The Formosa charlatan ( Garrulax taewanus ) is a species of passerine bird in the Leiothrichidae family,endemic to the island of Taiwan.Previously it was considered a subspecies of the canarian charlatan ( Garrulax canorus ) but now they are considered separate species.It is estimated that both species occurred about 1.5 million years ago.
