Description

The Arabian turdoid or Turdalida turba ( Turdoides squamiceps ) is a species of passerine bird in the family Leiothrichidae.It is a community nesting bird that lives in arid thickets of the Middle East;he lives in relatively stable groups with strict hierarchy orders.It measures between 26 and 29 cm in length,is 31 to 33.5 cm in span and weighs between 64 and 83 grams.It has a fairly long curved bill,long tail,rounded wings and strong legs.The plumage is brownish gray above and pale below.It has dark stripes on the back and the neck is whitish.It has a variety of calls including whistles,trills and chatter.
