Bright-eyed frog

Description

Boophis ulftunni is a frog from the family of golden frogs (Mantellidae).The species was scientifically described for the first time by Katharina Wollenberg,Franco Andreone,Frank Glaw and Miguel Vences in 2008.The species belongs to the genus Boophis.The species name ulftunni is a tribute to Ulf Walter Tunnau.Four male specimens had a length of 21.9 to 24.2 millimeters and two female specimens had a length of 32.0 and 37.1 millimeters.
