Description

On the mountain warning (Monito Del Monte (Thomas,1894 )),also known as colocolo,is the only mammal living in the family of Microbioteridi and ' Order of Microbioteri.Many scientists hypothesize that this semi-arboreal marsupial of South America comes from Australia,from where it would have arrived crossing the Antarctica,where marsupial fossils were found,as it happened for the obdurodon.,of which fossil specimens were found in Argentina.The warning of the mountain is slightly larger than a mouse;the length is between 8 and 13 centimeters;The weight varies between 17 and 31 grams.It has a thick,prehensile tail,of the same length.The fur is short and brown at the top,with a certain number of white patches,and is lighter on the underside.The ears are short and round,and has white circles around the eyes.
