Monognathus ahlstromi

Description

Monognathus ahlstromi, the paddletail onejaw, is an ocean dwelling, eel-like fish found in the North Pacific Ocean off of the coast of US. They are found up to a depth of 2,000 m. They are nonguarders of their young. Little information is currently known about their habits or full distribution.
