Description

Lepidonotothen squamifrons, the grey rockcod, is a species of notothen native to the Southern Ocean, where it can be found at depths from 10 to 900 m (33 to 2,953 ft), though it is most often found between 192 and 312 m (630 and 1,024 ft). This species grows to a length of 55 cm (22 in), though most are only around 35 cm (14 in). This species is of minor importance to commercial fisheries.
