Description

The Australian Bustard,Ardeotis australis,is a large terrestrial bird of the prairies,woods and open farmland that is found on the ocean continent: both in Australia and in New Guinea.In Central Australia it is also commonly called bush turkey,especially by the Australian Aboriginal people.The name for this bird is kere artewe;that luritja is kipara.
