Description

The marine pig ( Oxynotus centrina ) is a species of skeletal fish of the family Oxynotidae.It has a thick body and almost triangular section,with prominent back and small flat head.The mouth is oval in shape and small,with lanceolate teeth arranged in several series.Its coloration is dark gray or brown with dark spots,varying according to the place where it inhabits,and it has two dorsal fins with separate stingers,almost completely wrapped in the skin of the fins.It is a small shark,not exceeding 150 cm in length.
