Spectacled porpoise

Description

The eyed porpoise ( Phocoena dioptrica ) is a rarely sighted member of the porpoise family.This species is easily distinguished from other porpoises by the characteristic dark ring around the eyes that gave the animal its name.This ring is commonly surmounted by another lighter ring.
