Description

Ardops nichollsi is a flattering mart first described by Thomas 1891.The species occurs in Dominica,Guadeloupe,Martinique,Montserrat,Netherlands Antilles,Saint Lucia,Saba and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.Ardops nichollsi is the only one in the genus Ardops that is part of the family leaf noses.The IUCN categorizes the species globally as viable.No subspecies are listed in the Catalog of Life.Wilson & Reeder (2005) distinguishes between 5 subspecies.
