Gambusia senilis,the blotched gambusia,is a species of fish in the Poeciliidae family found in Mexico,where it is called guayacon pinto,and the United States.Gambusia senilis (in the American Guayacon pinto ) is a freshwater fish,related to the mosquito fish,from the family Poeciliidae and the order tooth carp.The fish is 2.8 cm long on average and can be up to 5.5 cm long.Gambusia senilis is found in the Devils River in Texas,a tributary of the Rio Grande between the United States and Mexico.This fish species is as threatened on the Red List of the state of Texas and as sensitive on the international Red List of the IUCN.
