Description

Chaetodontoplus septentrionalis, common names blue-striped angelfish and bluelined angelfish, is a species of marine fish in the family Pomacanthidae. This species lives on coral-covered or rocky reefs on the coastal waters of China, southern Japan, and southern Korea at depths of between 5 and 60 metres. It is normally solitary and feeds on tunicates and sponges.
