Description

The Petrel Barau or petrel Barau ( barau's petrel ) is a species of bird procelariforme family of proceláridos ( Procellariidae ).Its main breeding site is Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean. The name commemorates Armand Barau,agronomist and ornithologist from the French territory of the island of Reunion.It is one of the most recently discovered seabird species and was only described in 1964. It measures about 40 cm in length,has white lower parts and forehead.Its bill is black and its upper parts are dark.
