The petrel gon-gon ( Fea's Petrel ) is a species of bird procelariforme family of proceláridos ( Procellariidae ).It was considered a subspecies of the soft petrel ( P.mollis ),but in reality they are not related at all.However,it is closely related to the Freira petrel ( P.madeira ) and the Desertas petrel ( P.deserta ),two other species that recently separated from P.mollis
