Description

The hooded petrello (Pterodroma hasitata (Kuhl,1820)) is a bird of the Procellariidae family.Length 40.5 cm is similar to the Berta of the Atlantic from which it is distinguished by a white spot at the base of the tail and on the nape that forms a sort of band between the top and the mantle.Brown upper parts;white lower parts,front and sides of the whitish head.Black sponge with carnyard feet.
