Description

The cockatoo of the Philippines ( Cacatua haematuropygia ( Statius Müller,1776) ) is a bird of the family of Cacatuidi,considered in critical danger of extinction.Species similar to the Ducorps cockatoo,it has a white plumage with very pale yellow veils and evident yellow signs on the undershirt and lower part of the tail,where there is also an evident reddish-orange color.He has an eye circled with blue skin,with a dark iris in the male and reddish in the female;beak and legs are light gray.The size is around 30 cm and the tuft is short and rounded.
