The Ecuadorian parrot ( Hapalopsittaca pyrrhops ) is a South American parrot that inhabits the Andean jungles of Peru and Ecuador.It is one of the four species of the genus Hapalopsittaca.It is considered a vulnerable species due to the progressive loss of habitat.
