Comoro rousette

Description

Mid-sized bat with the length of the forearm between 70.3 and 75 mm,the tail length between 16.7 and 19.8 mm,a 45 cm wingspan and a weight up to 45 g.The fur is short and smooth.The general color of the body is opaque gray-brownish.The wing membranes are attached to the back of the second toe.The tibia is dorsally free of hairs.The tail is well developed,while the uropatage is reduced to a thin membrane covered with a few hairs scattered along the inside of the lower limbs.
