Description

Python curtus, commonly known as Sumatran short-tailed python or Sumatran blood python, is a species of the family Pythonidae, a nonvenomous snake found in Southeast Asia. Three subspecies are recognized, including the nominate subspecies described here, although some authors describe these as species.
