Description

The yellowish chick (Coturnicops noveboracensis),also called yellow chick and yellowish burrito,is a species of gruiform bird of the Rallidae family that lives in North America.The adults have brown upperparts veined in black,with yellowish chest and ocher throat,light belly and flanks listed.The feathers on its back have whitish edges.They have a broad and diffuse yellowish superciliary list and a short dark beak that turns yellow in the males during the breeding season.Its legs are gray-yellow.
