Description

The multicolored torito,chaboclo de garganta blanca,cabezón cincocolores or captain of colores 3 ( Capito quinticolor ) is a species of bird of the Capitonidae family found in the Pacific region on the border of Colombia with EcuadorIt measures 17 4 to 18 cm in length.It presents sexual dimorphism.The male has a crimson crown and nape;front,mask and black tops,with a yellow V-stripe on the back;wings with yellow lines and tertials with yellow tips;white throat and neck;belly yellow,with black flanks.The female is different in that it presents a yellowish olive crown with fine black lines and yellow lower parts,with streaks and black punts in the throat and chest
