Description

Epinephelus polylepis is a ray-finned species of fish from the family of sawfish or sea bass (Serranidae).The scientific name of the species has been validly published for the first time in 1991 by Randall & Heemstra.The species is on the Red List of the IUCN as Sensitive,assessment year 2008.The size of the population is decreasing according to the IUCN.
