Description

The Greater Crested penguin ( Eudyptes sclateri Buller,1888 ),or simply crested penguin,is a bird of the Spheniscidae family,endemic to New Zealand.Its main feature is that of having a large blond tuft on the head,which only shows off during the mating period.In the rest of the year the tufts are pulled back on both sides of the head.
