Description
On average,the male measures 18 cm in length and the female measures 9.7 cm.The male has bright green plumage,with violet hues in the throat,bluish rump and metallic violet tail with bright blue tips.The female has a green back;the bright blue crown;white throat with green dots;cream chest;rufous cinnamon belly and bluish dark green tail.
