Description

10.9 measured 4 cm in length.It weighs 8 to 8.5 g.The bill is straight and is 18 mm long.Iridescent bluish green back;head black throat and upper chest;purple nuances in the throat and the rest of the chest and the blue belly to iridescent purple;the inner coverts of the cinnamon-orange wings;the central tail feathers black,the outer feathers white with black tips.he female is more opaque,with the margin of the feathers of the chest and the ante-colored belly.
