Description

The Cistothorus apolinari is a bird passerine family Troglodytidae.It is endemic to the Andean zones of Colombia.Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical highland pastures (between 2500 and 4000 meters above sea level),freshwater lakes and freshwater marshes.It is threatened by habitat loss.This species of bird is small,it measures in the average of 13 cm of length,they have brown head,gray patches around the eyes,dark back with stripes and reddish tail.On average it measures 12.5 cm in length.It is brown,darker on the head,with gray patches around the eyes;dark stripes on the back;throat,chest and abdomen whitish to buff.and reddish tail.
