Description

The pantanero wrasse (Cistothorus palustris) is a species of passerine bird in the family Troglodytes (Troglodytidae ),native to North America.Adults have brown upperparts with belly and light brown flanks,throat and chest are white.The back is black with white stripes.They have a dark cap with a white line over their eyes and a short,thin beak.The song of the male is a strong twitter used to declare the property of its territory;Western males have a more varied repertoire.
