Redwing

Description

The redwing ( Turdus iliacus Linnaeus,1758 ) is a bird of the family of Turdidae.The size of this thrush is about 22 cm in length,for an average weight of 70 grams.Dark brown in the upper parts,white streaked with dark in the lower parts;evident eyebrow cream,while reddish brown is the under-wing,from which it often overflows.Similar to the song thrush,from which however one can easily recognize because the latter has a cinnamon-colored sub-layer,which never overflows,and the eyebrow is almost non-existent.Even the voice is completely different.
