Description

The pechigrís flycatcher ( Lathrotriccus griseipectus ),also called mosquerito pechigrís ( Ecuador ),gray chestnut flycatcher ( Peru ) or gray chestnut mosqueta,is a species of passerine bird belonging to the genus Lathrotriccus integrated into the Tyrannidae family.He is a native of South America.It measures 13 cm.It is olive grayish above,with eye ring and white supraral region;the wings are brown with two striking white lists.The throat is pale gray,the chest is gray and the belly is yellowish white.The juveniles have the list of wings yellowish brown and belly more yellow.In the field it appears as quite gray,which combined with the lists of the wings,the eye ring and the supraral spot,avoid confusing it with,for example,Contopus punensis.
