The Great Noctule (Nyctalus lasiopterus) is a European bat species of the family Vespertilionidae,and the largest in Europe.It is the largest species of bats present in Europe.Its size reaches 14 to 17 cm for a wingspan of 41 to 46 cm.It is unusual and many aspects of its biology are still poorly understood.
