Description

The red-eared ( brown long-eared bat ) is a bat- European of the family of Vespertilionidae in apparent disproportionate and tragus earrings,characteristics eared.It hibernates in cavities and caves.This species is difficult to distinguish from its cousin the gray ear ( P.austriacus ),recognized in the 1960s.At the beginning of the 2000s a third species,the Mountain Bear ( P.macrobullaris ),is also distinguished in Europe.
