Description

Nomascus siki is a species of the family gibbons (Hylobatidae) and the superfamily of the great apes.Nomascus siki occurs in Laos and Vietnam.This gibbonsoort is closely related to the northern white-cheeked gibbon ( Nomascus leucogenys ),and yellow-cheeked gibbon ( N.gabriellae ).All these gibbons species are threatened in their survival or seriously threatened by hunting and habitat degradation.
