Today’s Image of the Day from NASA features a swirling storm on Jupiter captured by the JunoCam imager on the Juno spacecraft.

The photo was taken on March 27, 2017, as the Juno spacecraft was flying just about 12,400 miles from the planet.

Citizen scientist Jason Major enhanced the color and contrast, and then cropped the image to draw attention to the spinning storm.
