Today’s Image of the Day comes from the NASA Earth Observatory and features a stunning look at Alaska’s mountain glaciers.

Pictured here is the Nabesna Glacier, which is the longest interior valley glacier on Earth, measuring in at over 75 miles in length.

This photo was captured in May 2018 by Chris Larsen of the University Alaska, Fairbanks as part of the Operation IceBridge mission.
