Today’s Image of the Day comes thanks to the NASA Earth Observatory and features a look at Bridgetown, Barbados and the Carlisle Bay.

Bridgetown is the capital and largest city in Barbados, with a population of roughly 110,000 people. Carlisle Bay has been turned into a marine park and is a popular scuba diving destination.

This image was captured by an astronaut on board the International Space Station.
