Today’s Image of the Day comes courtesy of the NASA Earth Observatory and features a look at the waters off the coast of China’s Jiangsu province.

Massive amounts of suspended sediment that flow out of the Yangtze and Yellow rivers keep these waters brown all year.

This image was captured by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on board the Terra satellite.
