Chilubi Island in northern Zambia
Today’s Image of the Day comes from the NASA Earth Observatory and features a look at Chilubi Island in northern Zambia.
Chilubi Island is located on Lake Bangweulu and has both an odd shape and lighter-toned sand that allows it to stand out from its surroundings. The island has roughly 60 miles of coastline, allowing for plenty of access for fishing.
