Today’s Image of the Day comes from the NASA Earth Observatory and features a look at the Korean Peninsula and cloud streets over the Yellow Sea.

Cloud streets are long strips of cumulus clouds aligned in parallel formation that usually form when colder air blows over warm water.

This image was captured the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on board the Terra satellite.
