Today’s Image of the Day comes from the NASA Earth Observatory and features a look at the Pennsylvania coastline of Lake Erie.

The curved peninsula that juts out into the water was formed by sediment that has accumulated over time, and now contains Presque Isle State Park.

This image was captured by an astronaut on board the International Space Station.
