Today’s Image of the Day from NASA features a remarkable view of Jupiter’s south pole.

The color of this photograph was enhanced by citizen scientist Gabriel Fiset using data from the JunoCam instrument on the Juno spacecraft.

The image was captured on December 11, 2016 from an altitude of approximately 32,400 miles over the planet’s atmosphere.
