Today’s Image of the Day comes from the NASA Earth Observatory and features a look at Great Exuma Island in the Bahamas.

Great Exuma is the largest in a string of cays that stretch 8.9 miles west of the island, which itself measures 37 miles and is adjoined by bridge to a smaller island called Little Exuma.

This image was captured by an astronaut on board the International Space Station.
