Today’s Image of the Day comes thanks to the NASA Earth Observatory and features a look at Hurricanes Katia, Irma, and Jose striking the Atlantic Basin at the same time.

Irma has already caused catastrophic damage in the Caribbean islands and is set to make landfall in Southern Florida on the morning of Sunday September 10th.

The image was compiled using data captured by the Visible Infrared Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) onboard the Suomi NPP satellite.
