Today’s Image of the Day comes from the NASA Earth Observatory and features a look at icebergs off the coast of South Georgia Island.

These icebergs likely broke off from Antarctica and drifted until they got caught in the currents that circle the continent.

This image was captured by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on board the Terra satellite.
