Today’s Image of the Day comes from the NASA Earth Observatory and features a look at the newly formed Pine Island iceberg B-44 in Antarctica.

This iceberg broke off the Pine Island Glacier in West Antarctica in September 2017.

The image was captured during the midnight sun by the Operational Land Imager (OLI) on board the Landsat 8 satellite.
