Today’s Image of the Day comes from the NASA Earth Observatory and features a look at the Strait of Dover, located in the narrowest part of the English Channel.

The Strait of Dover is a 21 mile stretch of water the runs between the White Cliffs of Dover in England and Cap Gris-Nez in France.

This image was captured by an astronaut on board the International Space Station.
