Today’s Image of the Day from NASA Earth Observatory shows unusually clear skies over Europe.

From February 23rd to the 27th, there was a strong high pressure system that brought unseasonably warm temperatures.

According to NASA, weather stations in England, Scotland, the Netherlands, and Sweden have all measured record-breaking temperatures for this time of year.

This image was captured on February 27, 2019 by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on the Terra satellite.
