Conophytum chrisolum

Description

A species that grows on the same hill as C. chrisocruxum and with an equally small area of distribution. The flower shows that it is an extreme form within the C. obscurum group. Wild plants are normally solitary, but my seedlings have slowly increased over a period of 15 years and the largest now has six heads.
