Description

Faucaria gratiae (Faucaria hooleae), also known as the "dwarf tiger jaw", is one of the smallest member of this genus. It grows in small compact clusters with leaves more or less erect, spreading only when pressed by a subsequent leaf. Leaves are short shiny greyish green, often red-tinged, with many small dots. In habitat it resembles Faucaria tigrina but is different from this species in its smaller seeds and fruits as well as having fewer teeth (only 2 to 5 teeth on each margin ) which are restricted to the upper half of the leaf.
