Description

They are vines ; with stem 1-2.9 mm in diameter, glabrous to puberulous just below the umbel . Leaf-blades 4.6-13 x 0.2-3.2 cm, 2.7-8 times longer than broad, glabrous on the bundle, glabrous on the underside or scattered to densely villous with trichomesmulticellular at the base and on the ribs or on the surface; petiole 5-15 mm. Bracts of involucre 3-10, 1.4-4.3 x 0.3-1.2 (-1.9) cm, glabrous to rarely puberulent in the veins in the bundle; umbellic rays 4-22, 1.5-4.3 cm, scattered to thick brown puberulent, unbranched, ebracteolate. Ovary spread to thick brownish puberulent; sepals 1.5-2.4 x 0.4-0.7 cm, red to orange, often with green tips; petals 1.8-2.8 x 0.8-1.3 cm, surpassing the sepals by 3-6 mm, red to orange on the outside, often with the margins yellow, orange to yellow on the inside, occasionally with very small red or brown spots.
